Sierra Pollard's journey towards excellence in innovation began at the University of Florida, where she was one of the first people to graduate from the nation's first Innovation Academy. With a degree in Digital Marketing and Innovation, Sierra embarked on her career in the field, managing a social marketing team at an international corporation.

In 2017, Sierra founded her first venture, Ginger Media Marketing, a digital marketing firm focused on creating innovative social media and marketing strategies for small businesses. Her goal was to create brand awareness and attract new customers for her clients.

​

Driven by her passion for innovation, Sierra sought to expand her knowledge and skills. She was invited to study at the European Innovation Academy in Turin, Italy, where she earned a Master Certification in Innovation, Human Center Design, and Design Thinking. During her time in the program, Sierra was awarded the prestigious IP Sparks Scholarship for her creative intellectual property designs.

Sierra's thirst for knowledge led her to further studies in Technology Innovation at Harvard University. In 2020, she earned a Masters in Product Innovation from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her academic achievements and expertise in innovation led her to become the youngest professor to teach at VCU.

In 2020, Sierra became the first person to study innovation at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Inspired by her journey and driven by a desire to connect business owners with innovation, she founded the Winnovation Agency®.

​

As the CEO and founder of the Winnovation Agency®, Sierra is dedicated to encouraging innovation and providing marketing consultations for new business owners. Through the agency, she offers workshops, service packages, and networking events that foster a sense of community and support for businesses of all sizes. Additionally, the Winnovation Agency® has expanded to include custom print and t-shirt designs, catering to clients' visual branding needs.

Sierra's commitment to empowering women in innovation led her to establish Women of the Lowcountry, a non-profit organization focused on fostering collaboration and community among women entrepreneurs.

​

Sierra's expertise in innovation and design thinking also led her to become a Curriculum Developer for the Product Management and Product Innovation Courses at Fullstack Academy. She has developed various workshops aimed at nurturing the next generation of business engineers.

​

In addition to her entrepreneurial and educational pursuits, Sierra is a professional keynote speaker. She continues to share her knowledge and inspire audiences at large conferences worldwide. Sierra also takes pride in being a Professor of Innovation and Design Thinking at the University of Florida.

In 2022, Sierra led the Product Design courses for the Innovation Abroad collaboration between the University of Florida and Maynooth University in Maynooth, Ireland, further expanding her global impact.

Sierra's unwavering commitment to innovation, entrepreneurship, and empowering women has positioned her as a trailblazer in her field. She looks forward to bringing the 4th Annual Women's Summit of the Lowcountry to Bluffton, SC in 2024, as she continues to make a lasting impact on the innovation landscape.
